The Minister of Education held a press conference on August 10, 2020, outlining that back-to-school for 2020-2021 school year is a “back to normal” with distancing and other health and safety guidelines in place. Here is a link to the Government’s 2020-2021 back-to-school page
If your child shows symptoms
Check the Government’s “Children and COVID-19” document. If your child has symptoms on the list, please keep your child home. After 24 hours, re-evaluate to see if there is any change in symptoms.
If, after 24 hours, your child still isn’t feeling well
Complete the Government’s online “Symptom Self-Assessment” questionnaire for guidance. Keep your child’s school informed!
When your child is feeling better and cleared to return to school
Print and complete our “Parental Commitment – Child’s Return to School” form. Bring it to your child’s school office.
