How to Register

Grades 1 to 11  . . .
“Re-registration” for NFSB students?
New to the NFSB?

What you’ll need to register!

  • Your child’s long-form birth certificate with parents’ names
  • Proof of Canadian Citizenship of the parent who will render your child eligible for English school
  • Proof that you live within the boundary of the school

4-year-old Kindergarten (K4)

If your child will be 4 years old by September 30 . . .

  • Contact your school to make your “online” registration appointment with the school’s secretary
  • Space in our K4 program is limited in some schools  – spots will be reserved in the order the calls are received. Note that since the opening of the program, we have been able to accommodate most registrations
  • Your school’s secretary will walk you through the registration process. A quick in-person visit to the school will be necessary to sign or pick up required documents.
  • Stay tuned for more information from your school in the coming weeks/months, and welcome to the NFSB family!

5-year-old Kindergarten (K5)

If your child will be 5 years old by September 30 . . .

  • Contact your school to make your “online’ registration appointment with the school’s secretary.
  • Your school’s secretary will walk you through the registration process. A quick in-person visit to the school will be necessary to sign or pick up required documents.

New Families

Welcome! Here are some easy steps to follow to register your child in one of our elementary or high schools.


 

  • Make sure your child is eligible to attend English school in Quebec
  • Find your zoned school
  • Have the required documents (below)
  • Contact your school to make an appointment! :)
