Mr Helm is a proud graduate of not only the Quebec public education system, but that of New Frontiers, having graduated from our Chateauguay Valley Regional High School (CVR). Mr Helm brings with him 26 years of classroom and administrative experience, having worked as a teacher, a Vice-Principal and Principal at Howard S. Billings High School, the Director of Educational Services & Transportation, the interim Director of Finance and Material Resources, and nine years as the Assistant Director General.
The Director General is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the School Board. The Director General manages the administrative team, ensures that law and policy are being adhered to, and works closely with the Council of Commissioners to ensure that the School Board runs effectively and efficiently. NFSB Communications are also managed through the Director General’s office.
