Cases of measles are being reported in different regions of Quebec at the moment. During this holiday season, with numerous gatherings and trips taking place, parents are advised to check whether children and family members are vaccinated against measles. Measles is highly contagious. It can be very serious, especially for young children, pregnant individuals, and people with weakened immune systems. There is no treatment for this disease.
