Bus information is available through your Parent Portal / Clic école. Enable notifications on your Clic école app to keep up-to-date!
For most families, bus stops and pickup times stay much the same from year to year. Occasionally, small adjustments are needed. If your child is new to busing or there has been a change to their transportation, updated information will be available in Parent Portal / Clic école before school begins.
Not sure if your child is eligible for transportation? Learn more on our Bus Eligibility page.
Please make sure your child arrives at the bus stop 10–15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. Weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or unexpected driver shortages can occasionally delay a bus. When possible, updates are shared through the Clic école app and school Facebook pages.
** Tip! Enable notifications in the Clic école app to receive transportation updates as soon as they’re available. **

Rarely, students, especially those in our rural communities, may have to transfer buses during their route. Students remain on the bus or wait in a Board-designated shelter until their connecting bus arrives. To make the best use of available buses, elementary and high school students may also travel on the same bus.
You may need request a different bus stop or transportation arrangement due to shared custody, childcare, or other circumstances. Learn about alternate stops, shared custody transportation, and other transportation requests on our Special Requests page.
We know bus delays and route changes can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to get everyone where they need to be. While New Frontiers School Board doesn’t operate the buses directly, we work closely with our transportation providers to keep families informed and support reliable service. We’re committed to sharing updates as quickly as possible whenever unexpected situations arise.
Questions about bus safety, behaviour expectations, or what students can bring on the bus? Visit our Bus Safety, Rules & Behaviour page.

Although New Frontiers School Board does not operate school buses directly, we work closely with our transportation providers to improve communication, support staffing efforts, and keep families informed.
